# Day 21 : Reflection

Just got a new hair cut recently, explains why my fringe is really short. Attempted to try a medium length bob again, and i quite like it though. I remembered I had a bob a few years back, when I was 14? Made a pact with a couple of the girlfriends and we went to the salon for a really short haircut. Turns out to be pretty weird because all of us kinda regretted.

And yes, how's your chinese new year? I just got back from a relative's house a while ago and i'm dead beat now. As usual, had so much goodies that I lost track of the calories. But it's only once in a year right? Everyone should embrace the festive and just have fun! So..... Happy Lunar new year to everyone! Keep collecting red packets ~

Welcoming 2012 with the first post of the year! I had a blast with the closest friends for countdown last night and we went to the same spot we went last year. Besides that, we had the same dinner as last year before the clock hit 12 am. On the brighter side, we got a clearer view of the fireworks this time. It was bad last year because the tree is right infront of us.. hmm, maybe that's why 2011 was tougher than the previous years. But this year we were directly infront of that 8 minutes long fireworks. Felt good, at least the year started right... I'm rather superstitious at times haha (i still believe in horoscopes and wishing wells). It's a part of growing up that is ingrain to me forever. Back to track, we had a stay out after countdown. Spent our first day of the year in macs and i broke two of my new year resolutions - (1) Sleeping early and (2) Having a balanced diet. I didn't sleep at all until 8 am in the morning and my first meal of the year was a nuggets meal with twister fries and it was upsized. I felt like a criminal and to get rid abit of the guilt in me, I changed the drink to Green tea instead. I hope it helps.. And again, Happiest new year!

It's the last day of 2011. I barely had the time to pen down what's going on in my life and poof, it's 2012 in a blink of an eye. This year seemed like the fastest yet the most meaningful year. Although there's a fair bit of ups and downs here and there, but I'm glad that I've learnt some really valuable lessons from it. Besides that, I've made new mates in my new school this year and still stay as close with my clique and family. That's what that matters the most to me. God blessed me with the company of the most important people of my life, a stable school life and part-time career, and a rather positive attitude towards life. I've kind of accomplished my childhood dream of being a pre-school teacher, not exactly the same cuz my students are slightly older than that. But it's almost similar and I'm happy about it. I hope this coming year will be fruitful and full of surprises for all of you. Happy new year's eve and happy advance new year! Have a fun time enjoying the last day of 2011!

Kicked start my week with a meal at Shimbashi soba which my mom had been craving for the longest time! It's been million years since i last went out with my mom and sister (i think ikea was our last trip). Well, we had quality family time... leaving my dad and bro at home. And yes, I'm down to the last week of holiday, i feel so sad whenever reminded to take note of that because i still have to rush on some work. It's pretty disheartening... other than that, life's well. I caught two movies for two consecutive days. Yesterday was New year's eve with the Xinying twin and Jinhao, and today was Chipmunks with Natalie and some old school mates.

Sidetrack a little, I've approximately five days to pen down 2012 new year resolutions. Before i start, i shall look ahead to my 2011 NY resolutions and check out how many have I accomplished. I'm not hoping for much.. haha till then!

It's almost the end of year now, just around one more week or so to a brand new year. This is the time when I feel especially emotional when I started recalling the parts and parcels that happened this year. It wasn't really a very fruitful year I can say, I've had my tough times sometimes too.. Be it in school or relationship with people. One thing I'm sure is that although things might get hard sometimes, I know I've someone to turn to everytime.

I'll like to dedicate this post to the most important people in my life - SIX, the entire clique (6+3+1 and so on, you know who you are hurhur), the good friends and lastly, my family. People who stand by me through all odds. This christmas, I feel extremely blessed and I want my loved ones to feel as blessed too. Thank you for bringing laughter and joy into my life each and everyday. I hope that it'll be a great year ahead and everything will go well for every single one of you. Good morning earthlings! I just got back from brunch with Jess a while ago, this girl stayed over at my place last night. Well, we didn't really get sufficient rest, instead we spent our time having heart to heart talk till 5 am! <3 My bunch of buddies came over for christmas party last night and we had a blast, totally lovin the christmas exchange part! I guess i can say i'm really lucky enough because my present isn't that bad afterall. The guys are much meticulous this time round, i can't deny that the presents they got are much better than what we girls got. You see most of us have no idea what is most suitable for the exchange, so almost all the girls got chocolates but look at what i get from isaac. The mittens are so lovely, isn't it ?

Sorry for the lack of update. I've been lacking of rest, hanging out with friends and doing a major makeover for my room for the past few days. It was a hectic week, feels busier than my school week. Met up with Rajinder and Roy for brunch at Food for thought this monday. It was suppose to be breakfast but we kinda lost our way but luckily, we still managed to get there with the help of google map (my saviour everytime). Next, sauntering around town as usual then had a belated birthday celebration for Jh at night at mayim. Hi yaaaa! I'm totally lovin this week, it's really hectic but i'm having lots of fun. I just got back with Nat from a mini-primary school gathering, it's an annual chalet thing held by my closest teacher till now. I don't remember mentioning this before, but this teacher of mine had never taught me when i was in primary school. He was my track and field coach and he's more like a good friend than teacher. Had a walk down memory lane while we were randomly chit chatting about past times.

I had the most awesome day of my life after my last paper, town with the girls then a classmate's birthday bash at MBS. Okay, not exactly the most awesome.... because the most awesome has yet to come, You see.. this term was an extremely hectic one. For the past few weeks, it was just all about the piled up work and i'd spend my free time in the cafes/junk food places doing revision. It was pretty much...... like a no life girl. That explains why this space is always so dull.

I kinda have a love/hate relationship with the status of being a polytechnic girl. When it gets hectic, you don't even have a minute to rest. However, when it comes to holiday... well, you've all the time you want. Nonetheless, i shall rejoice because it's my 3 week break now! And christmas is coming in no time. Then, i'll revelled in the festive of joy and sing christmas carols to myself. See you in a bit!

Hi guys. I just got back home from Ikea with my sissy and mom. I'm dead beat right now but still gotta keep my eyes wide to finish up the last bit of my project which is due tomorrow. And i haven't get ready my formal wear tomorrow, gosh. I really hate life like that.

If you're wondering why am i blogging now haha, it's for fun joy and laughter. Nah, i'm just kidding. It's been millions year since i last visited so before i start cracking my brains for school work, i shall just pay a visit to this empty space.

Anyway, it had been an extremely hectic week. If you guys know, i've been busy for the past few days with jess for the flea monster in school. Pretty much enjoyed cuz i've earned some moolahs. Other than that, it was all exhaustion. Today was the most tiring day for this week (Yay, it's ending!), basically spent my day on project, tuition and the last bit of time on some furniture shopping. Had plans to meet up with Jess and belle but failed too.

Maybe i should stop blabbering about anything and get back on track now. My brain is stuck, it's dying. I'm falling asleep anytime soon, i need more time. Till then!

Basically, it was a rather typical week. I shall not elaborate much on school because it's always boring. Ohwell, at least i spent the last two days of the weekdays on a teeny weeny bit of retail therapy with Jess after school. It's probably ingrained to my soul, i can't spend a week without shopping right now.... shit. Not to the extent of being spendthrift and impulsive will be fine i guess. Number one way to be happy : Get my wardrobe updated everytime (omg, i sound so shallow). Actually, the best way to stay happy is to date my bed the entire day.

Had a blast last friday with Rajinder, Faris and Karen at the Halloween event in school. It's a hectic week but i'm lovin it. It's pretty enjoying to juggle studies, tuition and time with family & friends well. Another random night with my dear classmates before school reopens. Had the nicest dinner for this month at timbre. If you ever chance upon that place, try their duck flavoured pizza and buffalo wings . I was never a fan of duck meat, but i like it. On a side note, school has started.. So the probability of me updating this site will decrease slighty. Maybe significantly in time to come hurhur ~ nonetheless, i' hope i'll have the time to visit blogger. Down to the last week of my holidays. Time really flies when you're having fun, especially when half of the month was spent on part-time tutoring and work. The other half was well-spent with friends and family.

My girlfriends, Jh and Robson came over to my crib to bake yesterday. Apparently, it was the worse baking session ever. We faced the simplest recipe (nutella cookies) but couldn't handle it well, i swear it's not our skills that's at fault.... haha we've two culinary students around. So.... yup, it's the anonymous recipe's fault! Next time if you encounter an easy peasy recipe with only 3 ingredients written on it, just give it a pass. Looks can be deceiving haha!

Okay, this is the whole tour team. Haha! But 5 of us were always away from the adults, we'll meet Jess's mum and cousin for both lunch or dinner after we're done with our activities. Anyway, got to thank auntie and jess's cousin so much!

Early in the morning, we went for our breakfast buffet which tasted superb. Guess what? Actually, we wanted to go for a dip in the dawn but the girls couldn't wake up on time. They had a long night playing bridges till four in the morning. Neither do i, so we just went ahead for the breakfast buffet and give the pool a pass.

I really enjoyed this getaway although it's just 3 days + 2 nights... but it felt longer than that. Girls, next getaway taipei okay? Hehe.. time to keep a healthy bank balance.

Furama hotel. Ohyes, i forget to mention abit about it. It's a new hotel and i swear the interior design and service provided was great. And the room is big, thumbs up!

Spent the night packing our luggages, beaming for the poloraid/camera and shuffling pokers for sets of bridge. Late night movie was crashed.... sadly, i couldn't keep the night young. I was the first to rest again.... haha

During the noon, we travelled to the city of malaysia from genting. Basically, we spent our day only at one district. The hotel was just right opposite Times square which is horrendously huge. I went there once last year with my family but we couldn't manage to finish touring the entire shopping mall. This time round, neither did we. I think we just covered the central area, they have like north south east and west. Shopping there is an eye feast, almost everything is cheaper than 30RM.... hmm around SGD 13 plus only? So yup, our wallet felt empty after that too, check out the loots we got during just for a day!

If you're wondering who drew all these sketches, i'm gonna tell you.... NO, it's not me. I'm not an artistic person to start with, in fact my art is pretty bad. I can score a C grade easily when i was taking that as a subject during my secondary school years. It's contradicting, i love fashion and apparel sketching but sadly i can't produce a decent piece. It isn't a piece of cake for me, i wasn't born for that. Anyway, these are a few sketches by my mom. She had a whole lot of books, thick enough to write more than a 1000 essays each and all of it used for fashion drawing. Yup, she took fashion designing when she was younger which was 20 plus years back (Observed the condition of the paper) Haha.

Maybe i should start whining.... why am i not a highly artful person whereas my sister can be considered as one in terms of both drawing or performing arts. I.... well, i'd say the proudest thing i think i've ever done is getting a distinction for my grade 1 ballet. Other than that, there's nothing to mention.. my music talent is as shitty too.

On the bright side, i'm going to start "home schooling" with my mom. She's gonna teach me how to sew, operate our real vintage and old sewing machines and sketching.... yes! It's a tick to my empty box to study fashion designing . A stepping stone.

Cooking up my own meals more frequently lately because i've been spending quality time at home this week. Usually the house will be quiet since everyone is out and i'm often caught up by the lazy bugs so instead of rushing out to get my brunch before going out or for work, i prepared myself a portion of home-cooked chinese style food with the help of my mom. Sorry for the absence, but my dear readers if anyone still exist.. please do come back more frequently haha.. My blog views have drop drastically over the months. I know i haven't been updating much ever since my peek period last year when i was having my O levels, but i'll be visiting this site more from now. This shall be my one and only place in the cyber world to release all my frustrations (and rants) in a positive way since tweeting isn't much of a habit.

Right now, my mental pressure has hit the highest point. I can't think properly. Sometimes, i really wonder.. can i cope well for my next semester? Today, i went for the diploma plus briefing and i've got to make a decision as soon as possible whether to apply. I set my eyes on two of the 5 courses i'm eligible for, Humanitarian affairs which i'm more interested at and Business with Math & Economics which is more useful for future studies. My main ultimatum is definitely getting into local university, so which one to choose ? Applying means extra night lessons and lesser recreational time plus i need to cope with my two dear students. What a sad life. I might just end up like a total nerd, all i lack is just a perfect square spectacles.

Not in my best condition lately, had been down with fever, extreme throat infection and flu bugs came to attack too. It definitely isn't a fruitful week. After lazing in my bed on a monday, i managed to get half of the germs away. Only till then i could enjoy time with my girlfriends at han's place and laughing like nobody business in the theatre with Johnny English on the screen yesterday. I really enjoy times with my girlfriends, get out and do some retail therapy together. Some people would prefer shopping alone, because there'll be no hindrance, no time restriction. I would say i prefer shopping in a bunch more. I'm a real impulsive buyer at times and girlfriends will be there to stop you when they know whether you really need your pending buys. And whatever i'm saying now is real random haha, gotta turn in now (with an empty stomach) else i'm really gonna wake up late next morning.

Bits and pieces of what happened ever since my last post. I'd cut down on my words cause i'm currently in the shutting-down mode... working at Gong cha is extremely exhausting. Sometimes, i really wonder why did i choose to work at an outlet when all my fellow juniors are at after school.. A good thing to mention is it's near. Else, it's rather awkward somehow if i bumped into them while on shift. Especially when they're people i know, but we don't greet each other. So, I'd just smile to anyone i've acquainted.

I finally got quality rest time for the past two days, excluding time spent for tuition and the amazing race yesterday, a favour for a friend's project work. Other than that, you'll see me either lazing around or surfing the net at home. It's pretty tranquilizing to spend time alone for half the day, doing what I like or cooking up breakfast with whatever ingredients I can dig out from the fridge.

Sometimes, i prefer serenity too.

Had a great time with my girlfriends over at Xm's place in the afternoon and my school clique at Rajinder's Birthday bash at MBS, i would say the suite is really luxurious. Everything looks perfect at the hotel, the best part was the skypark. We weren't all ready for a swim at first, i didn't even think of bringing any clothes to change, so it ended up to be some wardrobe malfunction. "Grab any clothes, and jump into the water" People there were all dressed up for an evening dip, all with bikinis or swimming suits. We were.... with t-shirt and dry fit pants. Nonetheless, the party was a blast!

On tuesday's noon, my friends came over to my crib and did some baking for the whole day. Our initial plan was to bake all the muffins for both Jess and teachers' day. Unfortunately, the first few batch of muffins didn't turn out well so we had to throw away the pure chocolate chip ones. What a shame.

It was officially holidays on Monday after my accounting paper. My long awaited holidays.... Yes!

That's basically what happened for the first few days of this week. I barely had enough rest with the preparation of Jess's birthday and teachers' day (We baked, that's why haha). Wednesday was the best day yet the most exhausting one, i had to juggle between all of this and tuition. I was dead beat then. However, i really enjoyed the time spent with my lovely girls.

It's been forever since i last hit town. So met up with my girlfriends (jess,yt and xm) on thursday and did a teeny-weeny bit of retail therapy. Although the mood for shopping wasn't there, because it isn't officially holiday yet, but it can be said as quality time to relieve some stress and get off the books for awhile.

Meanwhile, i can't wait for the following week to arrive. And this space won't be bombarded with exam, schoolwork and books anymore. It'll be all about having a life. Till then!

Last thursday when we went to watch Overheard 2 at the Cathay. I had a presentation, that explains why i'm dressed in formal. haha

Hi. I've been mugging pretty much this 2 weeks, spending almost half my time at burger king with isaac, tan, eric and yinghui doing economics and accounts. On the bright side, i've only two modules for exam this semester and one week each to study. Ample time but tiring.

Even last weekend was mugging session, had to meet up with Jess.. Not to do anything fun but study.

Just two more days and i'll be free for seven weeks!

Couple of things that are happening in my life currently :

I'm a part-time tutor now. I have this k1 girl for english and P2 kid for chinese which i haven't meet yet. The k1 girl is adorable, yes she is but she kinda freaks me out sometimes. You know what she did ? She kissed me more than 10 times the first time we met, i was trying to hide my skeptical expression and acted friendly for a moment.
Found a new job.
Suffering from mild deprivation of sleep.

My girls and I went for the Maybelline event last weekend and it was a blast. Although it was packed like sardines in the club and we had to wait for at least thirty minutes to get out of that seemingly big place. It's seriously overcrowded, but the perks that maybelline gave was much more than we expected.

Before we went to the venue, the tix wrote that there will be 100 over dollars of goodie bag. So you know as singaporean, we are all kiasu people.. hur hur~ But jess kept enforcing "no, let's not expect too much". She had a "once bitten twice shy" experience when we went to Chic magazine event. While she was waiting for some delicious food.. we only managed to get some alcoholic drinks offered.

Fact is the goodie bag was full with vouchers but really realistic ones (HAHA), "various renown online stores vouchers" which is much better than all those bookshops/ fifty percent off spa vouchers we feared to get. Also, they gave us a few make-up pieces <3

This two weeks will be the worst period of my life with 4 project deadlines and presentations. Omg, i'm so exhausted now that i've no idea what to write. Damn.

On the brighter side, i had an awesome dinner with clique yesterday. Little things that made my day. Before i start getting all positive about life, i need to get back to my PACC tutorial right now. Else, i'd really have a real long night to suffer.

Sucks, i want to have a fun weekend. So the best idea is to burn midnight oil tomorrow night at the nearby mac, drown myself with coffee and share the night with my work.

Hi, I'm back to this space after an absence of 10 days. Just gonna do a short update before rushing out to meet a friend for movie.

As usual, i was in a mini hiatus mode because of school work. The work load is extremely crazy sometimes, or i've to blame myself for procrastinating too much. In any case, i'm back... which means i've almost completed the 3 projects on hand currently. Yay~

I just realised the no. of posts per month in here is quite pathetic. Occassionally, i'd really have the strong urge to blog about what's going on but after i went online, i'd lose the momentum. It's like studying.... perharps i'm just not a "writing" person. That's explains why i only blogged when i have pictures or any self-proclaimed interesting stuffs.. hehe.

Back on track. This 2 weeks was pretty much alright.... hanging out with friends after school, spending my nights studying away, sleepless nights, insomnia, Harry potter and Chic magazine's event could be the highlights.

I was never a fan of Harry Potter until i got influenced by all of them. Especially Jess, she can totally memorised the entire harry potter story. So if you need movies in minutes, you can go to her. Because when we were in mac studying, she made me understand literally everything in less than 20 minutes!

Chic Magazine party at Club avatar, it was rather boring so we left early. And i doubt the atmosphere there was suitable for us, neither was the drink.

Some overdue visuals on last sunday's event at CHC, Jayesslee's performance was awe-inspiring. At first, we wanted to queue up for the meet up session with the twins but leonard and han was groaning so hard for lunch so we give it a pass. When we were on our way out of the convention hall, the crowd suddenly became extremely blaring so just when we turn to our left... Jayesslee was just right beside me! Less than 1 metre away and omg, they are beautiful!

According to han, the security who were escorting the twins were laughing at tan and I because we look real shocked. For that 10 seconds at least, i was speechless because they were just right beside us!

Sorry for the lack of update. I was really busy the entire week with school work and i have to help my dad out with his f&b business. The past two days was the worst, with the preparation of the opening going on, i had to stay in the irriguous place for at least a good 10 hours till 1 am and i still have to report to school next day. Now, all i need is just a good rest but here comes all the project, i've got 4 pw to be done in 3 weeks time. Oh, my life! Also, i've lost the ability and strength to complain, i'm exhausted. A good thing to highlight, i spent extra quality time with my parents.

Today, i manage to catch a breath and went to watch Monte Carlo with Jh after school. Kind of a more "fairytale" like movie, but it was quite interesting. It makes me feel happier sometimes after watching such kind of show that is totally opposite from reality.

The last thing to add up to it, i've got my database project meeting at 9 am tomorrow. Gosh.

I just got back from a swim and dinner with Xm, Bingkuen came to find us then! My class gathering on saturday turns out to be rather empty, only half of us turn up. But ohwell, had a great time catching up!

So what i've been up to this few days? Practically, i spent my weekdays just studying with friends ( 3 modules down!)... Phew, i'm at the last one now! Other than that, i met up with Natalie like finally and caught Mr popper's penguin. I just realised i kinda like watch 10 over movies since May, a big hole in my pocket. Not a very wise thing to do, but i like spending my time just catching some shows.. First, it kills time and secondly, you'll never find it boring!

Green latern was disappointing, there's totally no climax. It was a last minute plan to go catch a movie since it's friday and we (Jess, Han, Jh and eric) have got nothing else to do! Had my dinner at our favourite hangout during secondary school times, Mufiz and next, hit the books with isaac.

Guess what? I managed to cover half of my economics yesterday, so i can say it was productive.

Meanwhile, this site is gonna be boring cuz from next week onwards.... i guess my life will be filled with books books and lastly books. Dread it when exams are coming!

I swear it was damn scary the first time, we went twice though! There's this safety thing that you've to place your thighs in between, i didn't realise that then i sat next to it. So kinda freaked out much when we were hanging in the air! But my dear friend Jh, was worst than me... He shut his eyes through the sky ride.

Last night, i had an impromptu outing with my goodfriends at sentosa because we had some luge + skyride deal on our hands. Touring around sentosa like a bunch of crazy tourists and enjoying night breeze while we were up in the air was pretty awesome! Kinda have a time out from everything stressful and depressing.

I caught "Something borrowed" with wk today which i find it quite interesting, no idea why they have so limited slots. Other than this, i had to run some errands for my mum and following, went for dinner with Jess, yt and belle @ bukitimah market.

I've been out everyday, ever since saturday.. and haven't really gotten ample rest yet so i'm gonna do a short update instead. I hope it's not too boring, cuz i'm running out of words to say. Now, i just want to grab a few pieces of milk chocolate and laze in my room while watching movie. Haha! Quality time alone makes life better sometimes, i guess.

Yesterday, i met up with my best partner Isabelle! After so many failed attempts to meet up, finally get to see her. It felt great when we started talking non-stop, i remembered when i sat with her last time, we often got scolded by any of the teachers. I guess both of us are just too noisy! Anyway, i got a cheap deal (5 bucks wedges!) On a side note, Isabelle will be setting up a booth at scape this coming saturday, so you guys can go for some shopping if you're free!

Side track a little, i've been indulging alot on sweet treats this few days. Gelato, Gustimo, starbucks white chocolate frappe and whatever you can think of.. I was kinda weight unconscious so i really hope the gym session this morning with JH can save me from gaining extra weight.

Our pre birthday celebration was a blast yesterday. Actually, our first plan was to head to MBS skating rink but what luck, it wasn't open yesterday so we went to Kallang's rink instead. Sadly, i was the only one who fell during skating. (Phobia, i guess).. When i was 11, i sprained while trying to act pro by skating in the middle of the rink.

Time really pass very fast, swift and one week is gone. It's going to be holidays soon (Can't wait again!).. But meanwhile, i need to face my marketing presentation next wednesday and a mid semester test for itb (My suckiest module ever) before i can rest for the 3 weeks break. Which is no rest as well..... Guess what ? Because I've got four tests on the first week of school. Oh my life!

Sidetrack a little. I'm going to turn 17 real soon, in approximately 10 days? Sadly, I'm one year nearer to death. Lastnight, i celebrated my ultra advanced birthday together with my sissy cuz my mom's going overseas next morning and thumbs up for the hellokitty cuppies! I'll blog more on this next time!

Karmin is really dope. I really love Amy and Nick, such a sweet pair. Other than this, they're just purely talanted. Love how "versatile" she is, in terms of voice. Sometimes she sounds like nicky minaj, sometimes like Haley williams.. but no matter what, she's good!

Time for some wardrobe revamp.

Sunday morning, feeling pretty lazy so i woke up slightly later. Caught Pirates and the Carribean with my usual hangout this noon and it was such a great movie! Other than this, I tasted the most horrid icecream ever.. Have you tried Mcdonald's Blackforest Calbury thing ? If you haven't tried, trust me don't try. At least for me, i hate it (Plus Jess).

Anyway, i wasn't in my best state for the past one week. Down with sore throat and flu bugs came to attack.. Basically physically unfit. Haven't gotten such a bad cough since forever, and i really hate it when my voice sounded so crappy.

Hectic week filled with tons of homework plus juggling with that bloody hell marketing project. Actually i was suppose to be at Swiss hotel now for my mum's annually company event, but tomorrow's the deadline for pw. I really don't see myself having so much tutorial work to do in my entire 17 years of life until now, not to mention secondary school's workload is considered peanut compared to now ( cuz you don't really have to pass up homework haha ). But now with the participation marks, die die must do your best else you suffer.

Let's not talk about studies, it's getting kinda irritating. Basically, i caught 2 movies and spend my saturday in town and flb flea. And for the first time in my life i really hate going to town. Firstly, i wasn't suppose to spend ( some heartless soul took my 55 bucks ) and secondly, i really hate the crowd during weekends. Ohwell, life hasn't been good for me.. there's alot of things going on now and then.

I'm hoping tomorrow will be better..Need to get back on track now and complete pw asap.
